Background

Hi there! I'm a SuiteVet ERP Functional Consultant at Oracle-NetSuite, and I absolutely love working with clients to help them achieve their business goals. My approach is to thoroughly understand my client's business processes and requirements, so that I can configure the NetSuite ERP system to meet their specific needs. I take pride in collaborating closely with my clients to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure their satisfaction throughout the implementation process. My responsibilities include critical tasks such as analysis, configuration, testing, training, documentation, and support. I've had the pleasure of leading numerous NetSuite activations, taking ownership from start to finish, and always prioritize customer satisfaction.

I believe in focusing on understanding core business processes and educating clients on best practices for optimal results, while also providing post-implementation support. I have successfully handled mass data migration for new activations, ensuring a smooth transition for the client. In addition to my 13 years of supply chain and logistics experience from my time in the Air Force, I am also a published author, podcast host, photographer, and freelance creative consultant, with a degree in digital marketing and advertising.

The 3 most important things to me + why -

When answering this question, I couldn’t think of my top three “things” because there are quite a few - but overall I can some it up to my top 3 core values that are important to me.

1 - Believing that everything will work out + thinking positive

2 - Cultivating Experiences while practicing gratitude

3 - Compassion and Connection for others

All of these go hand in hand, and they are the essence of what is important to me. I wanted to take a deeper approach to this question so that you can have a better understanding of the type of individual I am.

Having the belief that everything will work out even if it doesn’t seem to be that way at the moment feels like a superpower. Having a positive mindset and understanding that this is happening for me and not to me has taught me to see situations in a different light, understanding that when circumstances or situations don’t play out the way we wanted them to, it is just a better opportunity to find the lesson and approach it from a different angle the next time around. As well as being able to cultivate experiences even in the most mundane times of my life has made me a more grateful individual for even the little things. Not every day is going to be filled with grand adventures and breathtaking views, but I have learned to find the light and fulfillment in at least one thing from my day. No matter what the day brings me, I always have compassion towards people and understanding because we never know what they are going through. Having compassion and creating genuine connections with other individuals is how we learn, grow, and become better. Practicing this daily and meeting new people allows me to step outside of my mental comfort zone and become more open-minded to their way of viewing the world. I may not always agree with it, and everyone is entitled to their own thoughts, opinions, and feelings, but opening yourself up to the possibility of seeing a situation from someone else’s point of view is where growth takes place.

If we are taking a subjective approach to this question my top 3 most important things to me are - great conversation, over an amazing cup of coffee, in a city I’ve never been to before.

Cheers to the freakin Weekend -

Describe your typical weekend

My typical weekend consists of visiting a new coffee shop - I have been to 22 out of the 46 I know about in Nashville. I love the different vibes and atmospheres each one has. Or I’m taking my dog Luna to the local dog parks. Occasionally I will get dressed up and take myself out on a dinner date followed by wandering the shelves of a Barnes and Noble to find a good read. I honestly just love using the weekends to chill and be creative in whatever way I can (messing around on procreate, tweaking my website, or writing) and recharging for the week ahead.
